New for 2025, small gazebo with seating, table, shelter from wind and sun. Incredible views. Sheltered BBQ.

Summary: First of all, the views from the property are amazing. We enjoyed the outside fire and chairs. A downfall is there are a couple of dilapidated trailers/buildings next door which are an eyesore.The cabin is very clean and we appreciated the washer, dryer, dishwasher, and other essentials. The pullout bed and the bed in the bedroom were extremely hard and uncomfortable. We did not sleep great due to this. The sheets on the pullout bed also didn’t fit right cause the mattress to pull up in the corners. To us, and many people, quality mattresses are important. It was nice to have two AC units which kept it very cool. The kitchen was missing some essentials like plastic wrap, Tupperware, and aluminum foil.Overall, we enjoyed our stay but the property could use a few tweaks.

Summary: Property was as described and matched photos. We decided on a weekend trip to Alamosa to see the dunes and reptile park. Great location for a base camp. Very dog friendly. It was classic Colorado spring and we had very high winds the first night/day and our power went off (entire region was out). Chris our host was prompt to respond and called power company to get an estimate of when it would return and offered to bring over a heater. Fortunately, power returned within 30 minutes so all was good. Would recommend this location and would return if we are ever back down to Alamosa.

Summary: We loved staying at our VRBO in Alamosa, Colorado. Beautiful view of Mt. Blanca and other peaks. House amenities included deck with chairs and a grill, living room with futon and kitchen area, large bathroom with full size washer/dryer, separate bedroom with queen bed. Pet friendly (large dog crate provided), as well as a mud room for skis, shoes, jackets, etc. We loved the quiet outside at night. Would book again if we pass through the area.

Summary: Had an excellent visit. Clean, quiet area between Alamosa and Sand Dunes National Park. Nice place to use as a base camp for visiting the area. Amazing views at both day and night. Owner was nice and helpful.

Summary: Our first stay in SLV & we were so happy to have chosen this location- perfectly situated for day trips exploring the abundance of incredible natural areas, hot springs & local businesses & breweries. The view of the night sky here is amazing & exactly what we were looking for. Very little light pollution and no close neighbors while you spend the evening on the back deck. The house itself is cozy, clean & well cared for. We look forward to our next visit! ❤️

Summary: This is a beautiful, cozy little house, perfect for our family and two dogs. There is a good sized dog run for the dogs to have some outside time on their own, and lots of space for their daily walks. Our destination was a visit to the Sand Dunes and the location of this property is excellent - close to the dunes, and also close to Alamosa for trips into town for food or supplies. Chris is an excellent host, and he offered advice on other area attractions that were not on our list, so we also visited Zapata Falls (a gorgeous dog friendly hike - be prepared to get wet to see the falls, but it's worth it!) and the Gator Farm, allowing my 10-yr--old to fulfill his lifelong dream of holding an alligator. This was just one stop on a family road trip, and he still says the Gator Farm was his favorite part, so thanks for the recommendation Chris! Overall this was a great place to stay, gorgeous outside views, excellent amenities and just what we were looking for.
